Work on the 2009 phase (Stage 1) of the Quesnell Bridge project has progressed steadily with substantial construction of the various retaining walls achieved and large segments of the roadway works underway. On both the Fox Drive and Quesnell Bridge structures, significant portions of the deck removal, deck replacement, and associated work have been completed. It is anticipated that Fox Drive access will be made available in mid-November, with the ramp opened for traffic utilizing the westbound section of the Quesnell Bridge.

The coming 5 to 6 weeks will be crucial: weather permitting, we do not anticipate any changes to the mid-November target date. We will continue to monitor the weather forecasts, and we will be notifying the public later in October or early November of any changes to the stated target date.
