Lewis Cardinal walk on September 24

  • Parking: limited parking will be available at the kihcihkaw askî site; you can also park across Whitemud Creek at the Alfred Savage Cultural Center

– Meet us at St Paul’s church on Sunday for a guided walk to the kihcihkaw askî Sacred Earth Ceremonial Site, which officially opens this weekend. Lewis Cardinal will give a brief introduction before a guided walk to the site, which is located just off the Whitemud Ravine near the Fox Farms Land. The walk will be along the river valley and takes about one hour. We encourage anyone not walking to drive there and meet us at the site.

BYO Lunch. Attendees can eat during the introductory talk, during the walk, or afterwards on site. Dress in walking clothes and shoes and in weather-appropriate clothes.
