BCL’s February 20th Family Day event was attended by over 100 relaxed and happy parents, kids and seniors, and facilitated by close to 20 volunteers. Attendees enjoyed outdoor activities including broomball, snow building, treasure hunting and marshmallow roasting, while musical entertainment and a space to visit while enjoying Belgravia-made cookies and hot beverages kept visitors busy inside the Hall.

The talented Marty Pawlina gave a special performance of family-friendly folk tunes and singalong songs. Team Skedaddle, made up of 5 young Belgravians, set up a craft sale table that raised funds for the Bissel Centre’s Coldest Night of the Year event. We hope the exquisite fairy shoes found good homes! To date, Bissel’s 2023 fundraiser has raised $195,627 – 139% of its goal.
