Enrich your life and the local ecosystem by learning the ins and outs and reasons why we should be growing native wildflowers in our gardens. Presenter Manna Parseyan is a native plant grower and avid birder who loves nature. With a B.Sc. in Geology and Masters degree in paleontology, she volunteers with the Edmonton Native Plants Society and has done many presentations on local native plants and her work in restoring and maintaining our local prairies. Due to a lack of native plant sources in the Edmonton area, Manna started her own plant growing business in 2018. Visit Arnica Wildflowers on Facebook.
Long-time Belgravia resident and an avid gardener, Rosalynn Ruptash will explain how to create long-lasting outdoor plant labels. She will bring samples and demonstrate her master labelling techniques. Please bring your own note-taking tools. Participants are invited to bring samples of their own garden labels to share with the group.
If you enjoy gardening (and wildflower refreshments), this is a session you will not want to miss!
