TOD: Public Open House Workshop (#2) comments welcome!

Michael Strong, Senior Planner with City of Edmonton Sustainable Development sends the following:

I am pleased to inform you that all materials from the March 20th Public Open House Workshop (#2) are now online and can be found here:

http://www.edmonton.ca/city_government/urban_planning_and_design/mckernan-belgravia-station-reports.aspx

Due to the volume of information and file sizes involved we had some technical challenges posting these materials immediately after the workshop so please accept my apologies and thank you for your patience!

I hope that by sharing this link to the workshop materials more people will be encouraged to review the ideas and concepts presented and provide us their feedback.

It is very important to collect as many comments as possible at this stage based on the vision, principles and ideas presented. Unfortunately some people may not have been able to attend the workshop or had to leave part way through. Please help us share this email and information with those in your community who could not fully participate. It will help us develop a more accurate understanding of what the ‘preferred’ station area concept should be and why. To make this easier, an electronic version of the Workbook is now available online. I encourage everyone who has not yet commented to please fill out the online Workbook, save and email me a copy to michael.strong@edmonton.ca

While there is no formal cut-off period for receiving comments, we would like to have as many as possible returned within the next 2 weeks of this material being posted online. This will help guide us in the right direction and progress our work in a timely fashion.

As new project information and updates occur we will do our best to keep you informed. Should you have any questions, concerns, or critiques please do not hesitate to contact me by email or directly at 780-496-1909. Thank you!
