Dear Belgravia Community League,

The McKernan Community League is celebrating the Grand Opening of the Skateboard Spot and Spray Deck in McKernan Park on June 9th, from noon to 4 pm.  There will be a dedication ceremony and ribbon cutting at 2 pm.  We would be honoured if Belgravia residents can join us.  With the Belgravia Community League’s generous donation we were able to create an extraordinary one of a kind playspace for our youth and our children.  This spring attendance for McKernan Park has increased by at least 400%.  The small skateboard spot has become a popular place for our youth and young adults to enjoy skateboarding and BMX activities.  The water has been turned on and I am sure it will be very popular.
