Ever Active has partnered with Billyco Junction Gardens in Lacombe, AB to offer you healthy, fresh vegetables for 15 weeks and fruit for 10 weeks delivered weekly to our neighbourhood over the summer months. Money raised will go directly to fund future Ever Active initiatives. The goal of Ever Active is to improve the health of our community.
Successes this year include our walking school bus, monthly apples to students, adult boot camp and walking group, and monthly community activities such as our September Elk Island hike, our December skating party, and our upcoming March 17th kids’ dance party at the community hall. All are welcome to attend these events!!

Billyco Junction’s produce is grown naturally without the use of harmful
chemicals or sprays. Their fruits and vegetables are harvested shortly before
delivery to our neighbourhood. Delivery begins in the early summer.
This will be the third year that my family of four purchases a half vegetable
share and one fruit share. This typically lasts us 5 to 6 days. The cost for us if
purchased before March 31st is $29.33/week for vegetables and $17.60/week
for fruit. We feel this is a great value for high quality, delicious, healthy and fresh
produce that is locally grown and delivered only a few blocks away!
For every share you purchase, Billyco Junction will donate a portion to help fund
our Ever Active initiatives. For example, the above order would result in a $55
donation. This would fund our apple initiative for one month.
