An interesting report and response to Belgravia concerns from City Transportation Engineering director Craig Walbaum: Although this report indicates that little more can be done to alleviate traffic cut through and access/exit issues, the Belgravia Community League is continuing the discussion with City staff and Councillor Henderson. The community league’s working group on transportation related issues has drafted a document looking at a range of traffic and parking concerns to discuss with neighbourhood residents and then address with City of Edmonton transportation officials. A neighbourhood consultation on traffic and parking issues is scheduled for Monday, May 30th, 7 – 8:30 pm in the Belgravia Elementary School Auditorium. All are welcome.
