Park Paving are drawing nearer to the end of work in the Belgravia neighbourhood with September and October being the busiest months in the project as they progress through road re-constructions. Park Paving ask that everyone please be patient during the coming weeks. Park Paving ask drivers to slow down to keep workers and pedestrians safe. They will do their best to maintain as many points of access as possible in and out of the neighbourhood, but it may take a bit more time to reach your destination.
119 Street/University Avenue
Intersection will be closed Sept 11th and 12th to accommodate paving of University Avenue and 115 A Street service roads.
76 Avenue and 115 Street intersection
Delays September 7th – September 11th for drainage repair work.
Temporary detours will be set up for buses and traffic when work is commencing through this intersection.
76 Avenue road re-construction from Saskatchewan Drive to 118 Street
September 13th- 27th . Full road closure while the existing road is removed and replaced. Park Paving will attempt to re-open this section of road as soon as possible.
Motorists are encouraged to use Saskatchewan Drive, and 115 Street entrances during this phase.
From Saskatchewan drive, motorists will be detoured to 74 Avenue to 118 Street to avoid the closure at 76 Avenue.
Local traffic only signs will be placed at all entrances to deter rush Peak hour traffic influxes from University Avenue.
76 Avenue from 118 Street to 114 Street
Ongoing concrete replacement work will continue.
The concrete work on 76 Avenue is expected to be completed by September 30th, which will coincide with full road closures for re-construction on 76 Avenue from 114 Street – 118 Street.
Concrete work will continue on the following blocks until the end of September. These areas will experience parking restrictions and traffic disruptions.
