Rapid Climate Change Session: February 18

The environmental impact of non-renewable fossil fuels as a major way to meet our energy needs has lead many to explore renewable energy sources like solar, wind, hydro, and geothermal. Over the past decade, one of these explorations has been happening right here in Belgravia.

With his geology background and creative thinking skills, Robert de Chazal has invented an alternative way to store energy using one of the oldest and best known sources of heat storage on the planet. As CEO of SunDraco Power Inc., and member of Seniors Climate Action Network (SCAN), Robert brings an abundance of expertise to this ‘Made in Belgravia’ and timely discussion on: Rapid Climate Change: The Mess (sobering graphics & perspective); The Hurdles (societal, political & personal barriers we face); and The Promise (the world of solar & solar energy storage systems including the one developed in Belgravia).

When: February 18, 2026 (7 – 9 pm)
