Made in Belgravia: BCL Felting Workshop

March 9, 2019 (10 am – 3:30 pm) at the BCL Upper Hall

Brenda Philp is a fibre artist who creates unique and functional wearable and visual artwork through felting. The recent introduction of new and innovative techniques in felting wool have enhanced and expanded the creative potential of this natural material.

Brenda’s passion for colour, composition, and texture are influenced by a lifelong love of the arts and music. Practical by nature, she utilizes traditional techniques and organic materials to produce useful and durable pieces.

This workshop will allow participants to learn and apply basic felting skills to create a project such as a pair of cuffs, or a fabulous piece of felt that can be used as a wall hanging or table runner.

Fee: $115/person (BCL Members); $125/person (Non-members) (includes all supplies and materials). Class size: 5 – 8 participants.
