The development permit for the building has not yet been issued and excavation for the foundation continues.

Once the permit is approved, there is a 21 day notice period for the building during which time residents have the option of appealing to the Subdivision Development and Appeal Board (SDAB).

In the mean time the excavation for the foundation can be completed and then work can also start on the foundation and the footings.

Please note: It is only the building itself that has the 21 day notice period – during which time an appeal can be filed with the SDAB.
