BCL Felting Workshop

When: March 10, 2018 (9:30 am – 4 pm)

Brenda Philp, a Belgravia resident for nearly 30 years is a fibre artist who creates unique and functional wearable art through felting. This ancient art is experiencing a revival due to the introduction of new and innovative techniques that enhance and expand the creative potential of this practical and natural material.

Brenda’s passion for colour, composition and texture are influenced by a lifelong love of the arts and music. Practical by nature, she utilizes traditional techniques and organic materials to produce useful and durable pieces. The 6 hour workshop will allow participants to take their beginning felting skills to create a project that might range from a scarf to mittens, cuffs or place mats.

Fee: $90/person (Minimum 6 required for maximum class size of 10)

Course materials for project is student’s responsibility and will be determined in a pre-workshop consultation with Brenda.
