The City of Edmonton will be conducting emergency repairs to rehabilitate severe erosion at Outfall #120 along the riverbank starting Monday, August 18. The outfall is located at the edge of the North Saskatchewan River, off Saskatchewan Drive (approx. 79 Avenue). The rehabilitation is anticipated to be completed by November, 2014.
The outfall site will be accessed by construction vehicles using the Belgravia Trail, from Saskatechwan Drive at 76 Avenue. A laydown area will also be established on the walking trail west of the foot of the wooden pedestrian stairway that leads from Saskatchewan Drive at approx 79 Avenue.
